I wanted to show you a simple and stylish work appropriate outfit with this gorgeous lace top. The top caught my eye immediately at the store. It is very soft with beautiful lace sleeves, the lace material extends into the shoulders with scalloped lace edges right at the chest. I think this little detail makes the top feel really luxurious.
I also love that the lace is thick enough that it adds the perfect amount of coverage for work, and at the same time it is sexy enough to be worn for a date night. This is definitely an investment piece, since it can be styled for so many different occasions, and the best part, it is currently on sale for under $50.
To style this top for work, I choose this plaid a line skirt that hits just above the knees. To complete the look I added black pumps and a tweed handbag.
