What better way to compliment all this snow, than by wearing a white coat. This is the first snow we had this season and it is finally starting to feel like winter now. We still have two and half more months of this weather until spring arrives, can you tell I am already counting down? But, for now I am enjoying  dressing up in all the coats that I didn’t get to wear last winter, including this one. I wore this outfit on Saturday for lunch at a local restaurant, and the rest of my weekend I spent majority of my time planning and organizing my personal and professional goals. This is something I do beginning of each year, where I outline my short term and long term goals, that I want to accomplish for that year. It is not like the average new years resolution. It is more like writing down my goals and writing out a plan on how to reach those goals. I think this is why so many people do not follow through with their new years resolution, because they do not have a “game plan”.  Without a written plan it will be really hard  staying focused on your goals and much easier to quit. Here is an example  in case of a weight loss goal ( very common new years resolution), the long term goal would be loosing 40 pounds in one year. The short term goal would be loosing 3 pounds a month which will get you to your ultimate goal of loosing 40 pounds in one year. When you break it down like this it becomes easier and makes the goal much more attainable. And then, you can break it down even more into weekly goals, which is even easier to manage the whole progress. At the end of each week I would do a weekly analysis and then monthly to see my progress, to see if I am on the right track  and if anything needs to be changed.  This way if you see that there was no result for this week, you can adjust your plan like adding ten minutes extra on the treadmill etc. So, if you have made a new years resolution and already given up like the rest ninety nine percent of population, who gives up their new years resolution within the first week. I encourage you to try this technique out and you will be surprised of your results.

I hope you like how I styled my white coat.
