Hello my beautiful readers!!!
…..As a blogger I spend majority of my time in the digital world, whether that is working on deadlines on my laptop until midnight, editing pictures for up to ten hours straight, answering emails, or managing social media accounts. I am being pretty much consumed by digital world, however I found a great escape from this digital life in working out. I have been an athlete my whole life. I played Tennis since I was ten years old. I would spend hours on the Tennis court, so my love for sports and working out started at an early age. The feeling of working out always left my mind and soul refreshed. There is no better medicine for stress than a runners high after working out. So, today you get to see a little peek inside my gym bag, obviously some items do change from time, depending if I am playing sports that day, but the items that you see above are pretty much my regulars like personal care, supplements, etc..
Simply Summer’s Eve® Cleansing Cloths I discovered Simply Summer’s Eve® Cleansing Cloths this last Summer, and ever since then I have been carrying them in my gym bag. They come in individual packets so they are perfect to toss in your gym bag which will come in handy after working out. It is really nice to have them on you to refresh yourself in case you decide to run a quick errand after gym. Not only are they great to make you feel refreshed after a workout but they are also balanced to a woman’s natural PH. Working out is known to throw of women’s natural PH off, so having these in your gym bag should be a must have for every girl.
Lara Bar in Apple Pie flavor – I never leave the house to go to the gym without at least having some kind of a snack or a nutritional/protein bar. There are so many different ones I tried in the past, these from LaraBar are my favorite because it is the only protein/granola bar on the market that I found that doesn’t have any added sugar. It has only 6 ingredients and they are all natural.
Water Bottle – I always have my own water bottle with me. It so much more convenient just to refill it at the water fountain at the gym, and you never have to worry of coming to the gym and not having any water with you.
Sports Watch – This white Baby-G is my favorite stop watch to use when I train. Baby G watches are sweat and bacteria resistant and they look super cute. I like that it’s white so it goes pretty much anything I wear.
Chlorophyll – If you have not tried it yet I highly recommend it. I use it to give me a boost of energy when working out. Chlorophyll is plant blood, and only one molecule away from our own red blood cells. It’s found naturally occurring in plants and you can also get it in bottled form. I usually add one syringe to my water bottle. Fun Fact: In World War II, they used Chlorophyll infused with Coconut water as a blood transfusion for wounded soldier.
Aveda Shampure Pure-Fume Mist – This is my favorite body splash to have with me. I love that the bottle is small so it doesn’t take up a lot of room.
Deodrant – The Arm & Hammer is the only Paraben free and Aluminum free deodorant that I like to use and always have one with me.
Supplements/Advil– I cant go to the gym without these you never know when you need an Advil, and the Fish oil supplements I like to take before working out. It helps with muscle building.
I would love to know what are some of the must have items in your gym bag. Leave me a comment below. As always thanks for stopping by.
p.s In case you are wondering; Yes, this is what I look like when I go to the gym, makeup and cute workout clothes. Looking good motivates me to workout harder. When I look good, then I feel good, and when I feel good I am more likely to make healthy choices and push my self harder at the gym. So, it ll trickles down as you see.
