Hey guys!!

Even though I am on holiday vacation and not working on the blog today. I still wanted to show you this cute dress that I wore over the weekend.

Saturday afternoon I decided to make a trip to Meridian Nursery, which is located in Rockford, IL.  I have seen a picture on Instagram of their nursery and wanted to see if they had any pink hydrangeas. I already had two white hydrangeas and wanted a pink one to complete the look I was going for. I ended up getting the Diamond Rouge hydrangea, which starts out as a white flower and later in the season turns pink.

On another note, this outfit would also be perfect for the 4th of July festivities tomorrow. If you are not a big fan of looking too costume-y, then I sticking with one main color, and adding a few subtle details. This way you will still look patriotic, and chic at the same time.  I am a huge fan of plaid, so pairing a red plaid button-up with blue denim shorts, or wearing a plaid shirt-dress and adding a blue stud earrings, would be a great outfit idea as well.

xo, Emily
