For today’s trend report it’s is all about taking the basics to another level. I know that most of us own a plain white button-up shirt, blue jeans, loafers, and a tote. But there is also space for the updated basics in your closet as well. They will make you look ultra chic, without looking like you are trying to hard.
This beautiful white button up shirt, has all the right details to make your outfit stand out. The front yoke is made out of crochet-lace material, and there is a delicate ruffle all around the yoke seam. The shirt also wraps around the waist and ties into an adorable bow on the side, which will add so much personality and flair to a look.
When it comes to jeans, I am always looking for ways to update them. In the spring I was really obsessed with embroidered jeans. For summer I am really loving the cuffed jeans trend, especially like this pair from Nordstrom. The white cuff makes it versatile to wear with any color top. Also, the width of the cuff makes it a perfect jean for Summer, giving off an illusion of a cropped jean.
As for the traditional loafer, which always look so chic, but sometimes can be a little uncomfortable. I recommend switching those out for some comfy espadrille loafers like these from Anne Klein.
