Stripes

Hello everyone!!!  

How many stripes is enough, in one outfit, you might ask yourself? If you are pairing up two striped items together, make sure they are both different size stripes. As you can see how I paired up the  hat, which has  large stripes with small stripes in the dress. Now, if the hat also had small stripes, it would  look to matchy, and not look right, so stay away from matching  the same size stripes, unless it is a suit.

Also, to bring some dimension  and contrast to the outfit, when you are wearing double stripes, add a bright colored item, like a scarf or a handbag. It will make the whole look more alive and so much more chic. The inspiration behind this look was resort nautical wear. What do you think?
