Today’s outfit is a sea foam green top and jacket with grey bottoms and animal print pumps. For a pop of color I chose this rockstudded handbag in teal blue. The majority of the outfit is in the same color family, the light blues and teals and even the grey compliments the lighter colors. Color wise I’m in love with this whole outfit.
This rockstudded handbag I got over the weekend. When I saw it in the store it reminded me so much of the Valentino rockstud mini handbag, but this one is fraction of the cost. They had so many colors, so I chose this teal blue, because I have a handbag in almost every color but not in blue, so I figured I needed one to match with my blue outfits.
My rule of thumb is if the handbag is on the high end of the price point, then I get it in a neutral color, so I get more wear out of it, and if the handbag is more lower end of the price point like this one for $19.99 then it is ok to get it in something colorful. Because you don’t want to splurge on a designer handbag and then to find out the color is out of style within few seasons.
