Here is my first outfit of 2017. This skirt caught my attention immediately at the store. I have been looking for a printed mini skirt for a while, and I just couldn’t find the one that I liked. All the prints that I found just didn’t meet my expectation of the look I was going for. I wanted a skirt that had that whimsical and runway look. This one is exactly what I have been looking for; it totally has that whimsical feel to it.
I paired it with a mock turtleneck sweater in a winter white color. I think the neutral color really gives this look some balance. As for the shoes I went for ankle booties with a chunky heel. The handbag I kept also in a lighter color, to keep the whole look unified. I hope you find this outfit inspiring.
