….….Ah, happiness. So many people try to define it and it seems like almost everyone is on the search for it. I always wonder how come some people who seem to have it all are still unhappy, and those who don’t have much at all  always have a smile on their face and are extremely happy. Is it possible that the simplest things in life like a pair of colorful socks from Happy Socks can put a smile on your face? Or  is it only extraordinary events in your live like winning a lottery that can make you happy?

I know for me it is always the smallest things in life that get me excited and make me happy like going for a walk with my dogs, playing tennis, or wearing the most colorful and bright clothing. Now, please don’t take this out of context. Even though I don’t place my happiness in the hands of others or I don’t base it on material goods, and neither should you.  Having a pair of colorful clothing can definitely affect your mood and how you feel.

I remember in my Color Theory class in college discussing the psychology of color and how certain colors can evoke certain feelings and emotions. Did you know that yellow is the happiest color? You just can’t help but to be in a good mood when you see this color. Whenever I am having a bad day, I always try to put on a colorful outfit especially something yellow, even if it’s just an accessory, like when I wore a  yellow clutch with this outfit here.

Next time you are feeling blue, just put on a pair of Happy Socks and you will instantly feel in a lighter and happier mood.
