When I was in high school and had to wear a plaid skirt everyday as part of my uniform, I remember thinking how ugly these skirts were and that I would never wear one after I am done with school. But never say never, here I am today dressed in this gorgeous outfit with a plaid mini skirt. I styled it with this beautiful pearl embellished top, which is also currently on sale.
To keep the outfit trendy, I opted for over the knee boots. I think they add a perfect touch of detail, and totally change the look of this traditional looking skirt. I hope you find this outfit inspiring.
