Who is counting down the days until Christmas and New Years; when we can dress up in our beautiful party dress? I am  praying for some nice warm  weather like we had here in Chicago last weekend. So, I can dress up for the holidays! If you like wearing dresses for the holidays; like myself, yet the weather is really cold, don’t shy away from wearing one. What I like to do is layer a long sleeve top or turtleneck underneath my dress; as you can see how I wore mine last weekend here. The weather was not too bad; however, if it was cooler I would have worn black tights, which would have kept me warm and still looked dressy. The outfit would have still looked fancy and glamorous. Sometimes you have to get creative, that is what I love about fashion, there are no rules, as long as you can pull it off. If you think about, that wearing a long sleeve top under a fancy dress would not look right, think again. All you have to do is find the right color and the right material and it will become part of the dress; it might actually look like a dress itself. Looking at my outfit, there is no way to tell that I am wearing a long sleeve top. I dare you to try this look, you will love it.
