If you are somewhat a fashion nerd like myself and have been following fashion trends, then you probably know that the most recent handbag trend has been the minis. Sometimes staying up until past midnight looking through a whole designers runway collections, often going back as far as the past five years, and yes, it has happened more than once that I stayed up this late examining each garment on those photos, and wondering what sometimes the inspiration was to design something and starting a trend.
This year the micro mini handbags have been spotted on the runways with designers and brands like Valentino and Coach.
SHOP my favorite minis
Soon after they were seen on the runways, as mini as they are they have been one of the biggest trends in handbags since the hobo bag trend. It wasn’t hard to spot them on social media considering that pretty much every blogger has been sporting them. I personally am obsessed with the minis. This one from Oliver Bilou has been my recent favorite. I have worn it to the airport, on my glamping trip, out to dinner dates and just a casual weekend with girlfriends. I do like the mini bag, but for they’re very impractical. But when I see one I love do I think about practicality? No! Haha!
I personally love the smaller handbags compared to the huge tote size bags! I don’t like a lot of extra space in my bags because it gives me an excuse to bring too much unnecessary stuff lol
