Hello friends!!!

As someone who studied fashion design I have always appreciated well-fitted clothing over anything else in fashion. I also believe that customized clothing can change the way you feel about yourself. Nothing makes me feel better than clothing that fits properly. I know I am not the only one who has tried on a pair of jeans or a dress in a fitting- room, that fit so terribly that I had to take it off right away. Sometimes I would try on 20 pieces and walk away without purchasing even one. No matter how beautiful the material how stylish the dress, if it doesn’t flatter me and my body I am not getting it.

I am so glad that few years ago I was introduced to eShakti; an online women’s retailer that customizes the clothing to your measurements. Finally you can have a dress that can make you look as good as you feel. What I love about eShakti custom fitted dresses is that they always make me look and feel so good. In the past few years I have gained a lot of weight; 50 pounds to be exact. Going from a slender size 6 to a curvy size 12, it took me a lot of getting used to, and learning how to dress for my new curvy body. Finding clothing that fit right was really challenging.

However every time I would put on a customized eShakti dresses I would feel and look like a size 6 again. You would never know that I am a size 12. That is the power of customized clothing. It will make you look your best. I hope my message doesn’t come across that you need to be a certain size to look good. But a customized dress can either make or break the look (Also, there is nothing wrong with wanting to look a little slimmer, am I right ladies?)

The dress that I am wearing today is absolutely beautiful and perfect for transition into fall. It can be worn with wedges or loafers now, and later when the fall arrives with chunky heel booties and a cardigan. The original dress is a maxi length with cap sleeves. I customized the length of the hem, to a shorter hemline, and I added 3/4 length sleeves which will be perfect for fall. Not only did I customize the style of the dress but I had the fit custom made to my measurements. If you have never had a custom made dress with your exact measurements, I highly suggest you check out eShakti dresses, you wont be disappointed. The process is super easy, and no additional cost to have it customized.

Let me know in the comments below if any of you have ever tried custom fitted clothing?

xo, Emily
