Hello fellow readers!!!

Today I’m talking about a style that you can rock for the rest of the summer, and that my friends is a long sleeve shirt dress. This pink one is from Ralph Lauren. I think the reason why I love it so much is because there are so many ways that you can wear it.  It can be a styled into a casual look, with some flats, but also it can be dressy if styled with wedges like I did today.

The long sleeves also give it another style option, either to roll them up, which is a great look for during the day when it’s hot, and then when it cools down in the evening, there is no need for a jacket, just roll the sleeves down and you are ready to go. This type of a dress would be perfect to wear to an end of Summer getaway, boating, or just having brunch with girlfriends.

I was never a huge fan of shirtdresses, because I am a pear shape, which means my hips are the widest part of my body, and most shirtdresses did not fit me right. I would always have to go a size up for my hips and then take it in underarms. This required too much work  so I usually stayed away from them, until I found this one.

Don’t be intimidated of wearing one like I was, there are plenty of shirt dresses out there that fit every body type, just keep in mind to look for a fit and flare. Because this cut always works for girls who have beautiful pear shaped figures. They cinch in at the waist, and flares out towards the feet, which bring all the attention to your shoes, which is a great thing!!!

The shoes that I chose for this look really dress up the dress, and create that whimsical look, to be honest, I knda feel like Mary Poppins, lol. The shirt dresses are also age appropriate for everyone, wide range of ages can wear them. It’s very classy, for the mature, and also trendy enough for teenagers, which looks great when paired with a pair of sneakers like these.
