As I was getting ready this morning, to run some errands including doctor’s appointments, while brushing my hair I was contemplating if I should cut it or not. I love long hair, but I am at a point where I want it a little shorter, right around my shoulders. It does look really nice in pictures, but it is so hard to maintain it at this length. I am a person who is really attached to their hair, every inch counts, so it will be really hard cutting it shorter. Since I was going to be running around all day today, I just left my hair straight, and didn’t spend too much time styling it, and I pulled it back with this beautiful braid headband. I also opted for these cute leopard flats, to give my feet a break from heels. Believe it or not I got them for only a 2.99 at a JcPenny clearance sale. In the past I had people tell me how they would love to dress really nice and they wished to be able to wear clothes that I do, but they just can not afford it. I think that is the misconception about fashion, it is about the selection and knowing what to look for and where to look for it.You don’t have to spend a fortune to look stylish. I will probably be doing a challenge to create a look on a budget. I want to show others that you can dress in anything you want, without spending a fortune. But don’t get me wrong I do love designer clothes, because as a designer myself, I appreciate the art that goes into designing clothes. If I wear designer it is never to show off. It is only because I see the art in what they have designed, all the details can not be compared to.  As the fashion trickles down to the masses, it looses its artistry, it just becomes very plain, not much attention to detail, or quality of art work, only to appeal to the masses for profitability.

I love comments let me know what you would like to see on my blog, or what you would like to read about.
