For today’s post I wanted to show you one of the ways that you can rock the crop top trend. I used to be obsessed with this trend few years ago, especially when I was in still in high school. This was definitely my go to look.
With the trend coming back in style I wanted to show you how you can still wear it and look appropriate for your age. The key to wearing this trend is to wear a high waist skirt or pants. Your high waist is usually the smallest part of your body and the crop top will look more flattering. Also, if you are not comfortable exposing your midriff area, wearing the crop top trend with high waist skirt or pants, will make all the difference of looking age appropriate.
Another great tip that I do when wearing a crop top, is to wear a bright colored lip or add a bright accessory as a pop of color. This way you will bring balance to your look, and won’t have all the attention on the midriff. Trying these few tips will instantly make you look chic and stylish without looking like you are trying to hard.

This is one of the fashion rules of being “plus size” that I want to attempt to break. Not sure if I will be able to this season.
I love crop tops, but I also like to wear them like this. With a high waisted bottom then you dont show too much skin, which keeps it classy!!
