Here is an outfit that I wore right before Christmas and all the freezing temperatures, but nevertheless in Winter. If you are brave (or crazy) like me to wear a mini skirt in Winter, then I suggest choosing a skirt in a thicker fabric. I think there are some really cute wool or synthetic skirts out there in fun prints and colors. I found this really cute poppy red at Loft few weeks ago, and already wore it on the Blog. Another way that you can wear a mini skirt in winter is pair it with thick tights, or over the knee boots. I think combining all three will definitely keep you warm. As for the top I would suggest wearing a thick sweater knit, I prefer a turtleneck, since it gives me additional warmth.
Tips on how not to freeze to death when wearing mini skirt in winter:
- Choose a skirt in a thick fabric
- Wear thick tights
- Wear over the knee boots
- Wear a thick turtle neck sweater
