Today I am going to show you how to style a long vest in Summer. Long vests do not have to be only worn in Fall. I think they can add a perfect finishing touch to an outfit especially on those cooler Summer days. I personally think that the long vests look more appealing when they are worn over something that is shorter like shorts or a mini-skirt. I chose to style it with these shorts, especially since the stripes were very fitting for a walk by the lake. To keep the look polished go for a fitted top, like I did with a plain white tank top. As for the choice of shoes, anything goes; heels, wedges, ballerina flats or flat sandals, it all depends on the occasion. I went for some flats since I was going to be walking a lot. To complete the look, add a silk scarf around the neck.
