Hey guys!!!

…With the warmer weather finally here, Spring and Easter dresses have started to emerge, and this has given me so much excitement and inspiration. If you have been following my blog, then you know how much I love to wear dresses in Spring and Summer, it is pretty much everything I wear. However one problem I always run into with dresses is the fit. I am someone who is a pear shape, so the dresses always fit me big on the top, and perfect on the bottom, or too small on the top and perfect on the bottom. It is always a challenge finding a dress that fits perfectly.

If you have the same problem as me, one of the ways you can make sure that your dress fits perfectly is having a custom made dress just for your measurements. A great fit can make or break your look. Avoiding ill fitted clothing is definitely one of the fashion rules you should never break.

I got introduced to eShakti few years ago, and have been a fan of their dresses ever since. You can view how I styled one of their dresses last Fall here and another dress two Summers ago here.

Not only do they have super cute prints and designs and SO much variety, but all of their dresses you can customize in size and style. This way I know that the dress will fit perfectly, and never have to worry about receiving a dress in mail that doesn’t fit and having the hassle of finding a seamstress to take it in, or even worse having the dress fit too small.

The dress that I am wearing today, was customized to my measurements, free of charge. All you have to do is before you choose the dress size, click on the custom measurements tab, and just type in all your measurement numbers.

Also, this dress was offered originally in a longer hem; just above the ankle, and since I am someone who has short legs, the dress would have been way too long for me. Plus I wanted a shorter hem for the Summer, so I had the hem customized and made it shorter to just below the knees.

If you have not had the time to check out eShakti Spring dress collection, stop what you are doing and go take a peek.

xo, Emily
