DIY bow as a belt

Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.
…Over the weekend I got inspired by DIY projects on Pinterest, and I wanted to share with you how you can DIY bow as a belt. I took a piece of black tweed fabric that I had as a scrap from my previous sewing projects, and cut it approximately 8″ x 5″ . I laid the rectangle flat on the table, then scrunched up the middle of the fabric with my fingers to create a bow. Then, I tacked it with few stitches, and the bow was all done. Depending on the fabric you are using you might have to fold the edges of the bow and stitch them down so it doesn’t fray. To style the bow, I took a dress that already had a belt with it, and just pinned the bow to the belt with the safety pin. I really love how a simple DIY bow can transform a look of a dress. I hope I gave you an idea of how you can transform a dress you already own with a little bow.
