…I am usually not a huge fan of chunky knit sweaters. There is nothing cute about adding bulk to my body, but I have to say that this sweater convinced me. Firstly, I fell in love with the light hues of blush and cream. The material is also very soft which drapes around the body very well and this is very flattering. The turtleneck collar and the little brown clasp take away the attention from the middle part of the body and focuses on the neck and the face. The opening in the middle breaks up the torso area which gives the illusion of slimmer mid section. If you are like myself and are not a huge fan of chunky knit sweaters, keep these few tips in mind next time you style one.

1. Make sure it is made with soft yarn; this will give the sweater some movement with your body. Stiff  yarn will make the sweater stand away from your body, adding even more bulk

2. Details around the neck, to focus more on the face rather than the middle part of your area by choosing either a turtleneck collar. You can also add a necklace or a cute scarf yourself if the sweater does not have any details.
