Wow I can’t believe the 2015 is coming to an end. What an amazing year this has been for me in terms of my fashion blog. 2015 was the year that I finally decided to follow my dreams and blog full time. I collaborated with many brands, experienced success, failures and disappointments, blogger burn out, but in the end it was all worth it. I am so thankful for every experience, whether it was positive or negative.
Every single moment in this journey of following my dreams, helped me grow as a person and brought me to where I am today. Even though I achieved many goals that I have set for myself in 2015, I still have so much to learn and many more goals to achieve in 2016. I encourage everyone to sit down and write their goals for this New Year. In order to be successful you have to write your goals down; you have to have a target in order to make the shot. And when it gets really tough in your journey, those goals will be there for you as a guide and reminder of why you started in the first place.
I remember as I was reading a statistic, at the end of the 2014, something like; more than 50% of new Blog’s do not make it past 6 months, because of a “blogger burn out”. I set a goal for myself that no matter what happens, I will reach my 6 months of blogging. I have to admit it was really hard; many days I was running on few hours of sleep. I had months where I worked from 6 am until 1 am. Even though I felt burned out at one point, I would look at my journal with my goals, and each time I would get reminded of why I started, and it would give me fuel to keep going. As I kept going, more and more opportunities came my way. I would look back and think of all these great opportunities I would have missed if I didn’t continue.
I am glad I continued. In only a year that I have been blogging, I collaborated with some amazing brands including but not limited to: Target, Macy’s, Fossil, eShakti, OASAP, RocksBox, Pima Doll, Sherri London, The Mint Julep, Irresistible Me, Envicase, Karina Dresses, West 56 Clothing, and Happy Socks.
To conclude this last post, I would like to say thank you to all who are reading my blog, I really appreciate all your support. All this would not be possible without “you” my readers. See you all in 2016, and I hope we can build a fashion community together on here. I am working on bringing you a new Blog layout, for easier navigation.
