….And here we are again, another year has flown by. For the last post of 2016 I wanted to do a year in review post, where I rounded up some the favorite looks.

Also, this is the post where I would like to say  thank you to every single  one of you for visiting and supporting my blog. Thank you for all your wonderful comments, likes and shares, I really appreciate them.  This year has been a “year of firsts” both  for my Blog and myself personally.

For the first time in 10 years I cut my waist long hair into a stylish lob. This was a really hard decision for me since I am so attached to my hair, but I knew that without change there is no growth, and that I had to do it, since shorter hair was more in style this year.

I tried weird trends like the gladiator sandal boots, Kim Kardashian inspired outfits, wore a swimsuit, and showed way too much skin with some of the outfits (yikes). But sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone, and not take yourself too seriously. I always have to remind myself that it is only fashion and it is ok to make mistakes.

I expanded my Blog into other areas besides fashion; such as beauty and lifestyle. I collaborated with MAC cosmetics, VIVE, PopSugar, Leaders Cosmetics, and many more. I am really thankful for all the brands and their partnership with Baily Lamb. And for the first time since I started my blog, I have reached double digits for monthly visitors; 11k. (wow, this was a pleasant surprise).

With all the success achieved in 2016, there were many mistakes made as well. Every mistake was welcomed, because it is through failure that we reach success. I can proudly say that I have no regrets, but only learning lessons. I learned that the key to being successful in this industry is having to surround yourself with the right people that will get you to your goal. Having a concise plan and knowing how to communicate it effectively to them. I learned to be more patient, and that sometimes things take time.

Thank you once again for following along. I hope you have a successful and prosperous, happy and healthy  2017!!! See you next year!!!

xo, Emily
