5 things I couldn’t live without in January

1. Itsjudystime Lip Palette

I absolutely love this palette. I have been a fan of Judy’s for a long time and I was so excited when she announced this collaboration with Pixi Beauty . Once I heard the news I could not wait for the launch, I ran over to Target on the first day of the launch and this was the last palette that was left. I am so glad I got my hands on it.

My favorite color is the bottom left, which I am also wearing in the photo above. I must say that this is the first makeup palette which I have used all of the colors. They are very easy to apply, so smooth and silky. It has a texture of a lipstick when you apply it, but when it dries it has more of a liquid lip texture; very matte and stays on the lips. It’s definitely very long lasting. Not only are the colors and texture  amazing, but they smell so delicious; a sweet and fruity scent kinda like the gummy bears.

2. Juvalips Lip Plumper

This cool lip plumping device couldn’t have come at a better time. I just purchased Itsjudystime lip palette, and wanted my lips to look more fuller to show off the beautiful lip colors. I was sent Juvalips to test it out, and I must say I absolutely love it. I have been using it before all of my photo shoots, ever since I received it. If you noticed a fuller lip in my photos it’s because of this lip plumper. If you already have fuller lips, I am not sure if you might see a big of a difference. But for someone with thin lips, like myself this is such a easy, painless, and inexpensive way to plump up your lips.

3. Amarte Serum

I have been using this serum for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it. My skin feels so refreshed, and smooth. I would apply it before sleep and also in the morning especially before applying my foundation. The texture of the serum feels very light, and it dries really nicely on the skin, it doesn’t leave my skin oily or greasy yet it provides the right amount of moisture.

Since it smooths fine lines, I do like to wear it underneath my foundation because of the airbrush effect it creates on my skin. I also love the the scent of this serum it is a very subtle cucumber smell.

4.Happy Socks

Another thing I could not live without this January were my Happy Socks. I got introduced to this brand last year. And I have been absolutely obsessed with their fun and creative sock designs. They truly put you in a happy mood. I really like these with hearts for valentines day. I also have them in black with pink hearts and black with white hearts.

5. My furry kids

And of course last but not least are my furry kids. They bring so much joy to my life that I couldn’t exclude them from my monthly favorites. Cody was a rescue from a puppy mil, and seeing how happy and full of life he is now compared to when I first got him, and how timid and scared he was of everything and now has learned that the world is not such a cruel place and was fortunate enough to learn what it means to be loved by humans, brings so much happiness to me.

My other baby wanted to get in on the fun, and be part of the pictures. (His name is Scootch, he is my first furry kid I had him since high school)
